Amber Heard’s Aquaman 2 Screentime Revealed

Even though Aquaman 2 recently got delayed and a pretty substantial delay at that it doesn’t mean that all the news is going to dry up on the contrary because we keep hearing about test screenings and things that have happened.

The latest is a report in regards to just how much time Amber heard’s character Mara has in the most recent cut and surprising many people she’s in quite a lot of the film.

So we’ve heard that Aquaman 2 had to go for some reshoots already possibly three times and James won the director even said after the delay that there are still more things to reshoot so it sounds like things will be changing.

We know multiple different versions of the film were screened but again we don’t really know the extent of what’s in each version.

One of the latest versions reportedly featured over 20 minutes of Mira involving a subplot and things that were not featured before.

Now according to some descriptions, it sounds like this might be some of the older footage where she was integral to the plot but then when they started cutting it all out and just making her get injured at the beginning of the film and then come back at the end it sounds like that that could have really hurt the flow of the film.

So maybe they’re trying to test out different cuts where she’s partially restored in the middle or at some points in the film to try to offer set the jankiness of just cutting out her complete Side Story.

But again I think that could pose issues because the more you increase her time now the more credit and well up front she’s gonna have to be for the advertising of the film.

I mean that just goes hand in hand if you cut somebody’s role down and pair it back under a certain amount of minutes you’re able to scrap them from some of the advertising.

So this could be a very interesting game that they’re playing here trying to test whether the audiences will respond negatively to her and if they don’t.

Well, I guess restore all her footage but then again that could be even more problematic because let’s be real wherever she goes it’s gonna be followed with um all sorts of controversy now and outrage.

And I think restoring her footage it’s not a good look, especially with all the times they’ve backed her publicly it just does not scream good but who knows the film’s more than a year away so by then they’re just probably hoping people forget about her anyway so we’ll see thank you.
