Iconic LOTR Locations Featured in New MTG Card Set

Magic: The Gathering (MTG) has announced a new set of cards that will feature artwork inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings (LOTR).

The set, titled "The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-Earth," will include basic land cards with artwork depicting famous locations from the LOTR universe, such as Mount Doom and the Tower of Orthanc.

The new set is expected to release later this year.

The announcement has generated excitement among both MTG and LOTR fans, with many expressing their eagerness to see how the LOTR-inspired artwork will look.

The artwork for the cards was created by various artists, including iconic LOTR illustrators like John Howe and Alan Lee.

The set will be a limited release and will not be tournament legal.

In addition to the LOTR-inspired set, MTG also announced another set titled "Innistrad: Midnight Hunt," which will focus on a gothic horror theme.
